He is survived by: his wife Margaret Chastain of Talking Rock; his children, Matt (Channa Chastain), Mark Chastain of Atlanta and Wendy Chastain of Hinton; his brother Johnny; his sister-in-law Anita Chastain of Hinton; his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Chris Huston of Hinton; and his grandchildren, Jack Spears, Sean Spears, Ryan Spears, Nolan Chastain and Maggie Chastain. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
