He is survived by: his stepson Eric Childers of Talking Rock; his son Gary Stephens of Calhoun; his grandson Andy Childers (Amanda Gray); his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Karma and Shelby Gray; his great great grandchild Matthew Gray; and his siblings-in-law, Barry, Denzel Bowman of Talking Rock and Ethel Long of Talking Rock.
