He is survived by: his stepson Eric Childers of Talking Rock; his son Gary Stephens of Calhoun; his grandson Andy Childers (Amanda Gray); and his siblings-in-law, Barry, Denzel Bowman of Talking Rock and Ethel Long of Talking Rock.
