It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Hendon of Talking Rock, Georgia, born in Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwayne Martin and Lena Martin (Blake). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dean Hendon; her children, Kimberly Ann Copper (Todd) of Pleasant Hill, TN, Jennifer Lynn Alfonzo (Frank) of Crystal Springs, FL, Jerry D. Hendon, III of Talking Rock, GA and Zeb D. Hendon of Talking Rock, GA; and her siblings, Barbara Elvey and Woodrow Martin (Cuba). She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
