He is survived by: his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Victoria Patterson of Talking Rock; his children, Benjamin Patterson of Ellijay, Jeremy Patterson of Jasper and Tina; his son-in-law Michael Lowery of Ellijay; his stepsons, Shane Buchanan and Christopher Patterson; his brother Johnny; his sister-in-law Cathy Clark of Jasper; his sister Martha Sue; his brother-in-law Terry Godfrey of Jasper; and his sisters, Karen Jordan of Jasper and Deborah Thomas of Jasper. He is also survived by eight Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild.
