He is survived by: his mother Lois Cherry of Jasper; his close friend Janie Hall of Ellijay; his children, Nicolas Cohill, Trayvon Hampton, Summer Burdick, Nikko Hampton, Madeline Hampton and Heather Hall; and his siblings, Betty Robinson, Joseph Knight, Linda Weems, Ricky, Donna Cherry, Michael Cherry, Dorothy Cherry, Ivory Morgan, Clarissa Pratt, Denise Jackson, Randy Cherry and James Cherry Jr.. He is also survived by Several other nieces, nephews and other family members.
