He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Evans and Florence Swaney Evans. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Evans; his children, Allen Evans (Donna), Michael Evans (Angie), Mitchell Coleman, Rebecca (Kate Stokes) and Rachel Reece (William); and his siblings, Jim Evans, James Evans, Jewel Childers and Betty Hancock.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church in memory of Emory.
