She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Walter McCarthy and Betty Ruth McCarthy (Gamble). She is survived by: her husband Morgan Garrett McAdams; her daughters, Lori King (Ray) of Jefferson, GA., Leigh Ann Linn (Chad) of Jefferson, GA. and Jennifer Scheller (David) of Ball Ground, GA.; and her grandchildren, Alexander Scheller, Eliza Linn, Savannah Bailey King, Brooke King, Sophia Linn and Oliva Linn.
She also routinely supported her local senior centers, Toys for Tots programs, animal shelters and first responders by donating needed items, adopting pets, and baking her world-famous Christmas cookies.
