It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Edward Ray of Talking Rock, Georgia, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ray and Bonnie Ray; his wife Jeanette; and his siblings, George Ray, Juanita Moraitakis and Betty Sitten.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Ray (Karen) and Elaine Bishop (Billy); his grandchildren, Teresa Crain (Robert), Susan Vaughan (Damion), Stephanie Butcher (Kirk) and John Ray (Megan); his great grandchildren, Abby Vaughan, Tyler Vaughan, Aubree Crain, Shane Butcher and Slade Butcher; and his siblings, Howard Ray and Linda Tenny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Talking Rock Baptist Church (3914 GA-136, Talking Rock, GA 30175).
