She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom "Red" Evans and Florence Sweeney Evans; her husband James Hancock; her children, Kathy Easley, Jerry Hancock and Harrold James Hancock; and her siblings, Bill Evans, Emory Evans and Myrtle Duckett.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hancock (Tina), Charles Hancock, Richard Hancock (Paula), Joey Hancock and Nancy Richardson (Perry); her siblings, Jim Evans (Shirley), James Evans and Jewell Childers; her son-in-law Terry Easley; and her sister-in-law Brenda Evans. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Town Creek Baptist Church (505 Town Creek Church Rd, Talking Rock, GA 30175). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (505 Town Creek Church Rd, Talking Rock, GA 30175).
