She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Matthews and Millie Matthews; and her nephew Sammy Wilkey. She is survived by: her daughter Sally; her son-in-law Melvin Childers of Talking Rock; her brothers, Robert (Brenda Matthews) and Eddie Lee Wilkey of Blue Ridge; her niece Shelty Moss of Talking Rock; her grandchildren, Amanda Childers of Talking Rock and Matthew Childers of Talking Rock; and her great grandchildren, Payton and Westin.
