Esther Zell Howard Willis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Esther Zell Howard Willis (Talbotton, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Howard and Leola Howard; her son James Gordy Willis; her husband Arthur C. Willis Sr.; and her son Floyd Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Willis, Calvin Willis (Loretta), Willie Leornard Willis (Sylvia), Arthur Willis Jr. (Emma Jean), Faye Willis, Dorothy Jones, Terrie Patterson, Hilda Ford (La Juan), Jammie Willis (Peggy) and Maurice Willis; her daughter-in-law Patricia Willis; and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Howard, Mandy Howard and Catherine Howard. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Terry Family Funeral Home Chapel (145 N College St, Hamilton, GA 31811). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Powell Baptist Church (6850 Lackey Rd, Talbotton, GA 31827).
