He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Cody and Ernestine Hayes-Edge; his children, Lekey Davis, Zandria Thornton, Nathtedra Thornton and Maurice Walton (Mallory); his grandchildren, Lakedrious Stanford, Latravious Sanders, Zaire Barnes, Keyan Davis, Ka'shara Rucker, Marisa Norton, Major Norton, Marco Norton, Janeshia Prenell, Ja'Nay Thornton, Jantzen Thornton and Jy'Nathan Thornton; his siblings, Joanne Carter, Adalia Jackson and Bobby Edge; his aunts and uncles, Ethelrene Walton, Gensie Hayes, Ruth Barber, Florence Barber, Louise Tyler, Alexander Barber and Fred Barber; his sister Lula Mae Hollis; and his close friend Paula Maxwell. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Social distancing will be enforced and face coverings are required.
