He is survived by: his children, Sue Monk Kidd, Chesley Wade Monk, Robert Ridley Monk (Bob) and Don Thomas Monk; his children-in-law, Sanford Kidd, Gayle Monk, Ann Monk and Karon Monk; and his sister Charlotte Monk Jenkins. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Ridley's life go to Best Friends Humane Society in Worth County and Hospice of Tift Area.
