She was predeceased by: her father Aaron "A. J.". She is survived by: her husband Rufus M. Powell of Sylvester; her daughters, Terry Wilkerson (Steve) of Albany, GA. and Cindy McGee (Chris) of Sylvester; her siblings, Ray Cox, Reggie Cox, Gordon Cox and Carolyn Douglas; her grandchildren, Miranda Baucom (Matt), Clete Wilkerson (Heather), Carrie Curtis (Loren) and Casey Knight (Ross); and her great grandchildren, Jones, Smith, Kellar Baucom, Christopher McGahee, Graham Knight and Ava Knight.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Unity Baptist Church Building Fund.
