He was predeceased by: his parents, John Colby and Josephine Pappin Colby; his former wife Beulah Colby; and his siblings, Jack Colby, Johnny Colby, Vonnie Colby and Glorianna Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Colby of Sylvester; his children, Kevin Colby of Mableton, GA., Jack Colby (Kim) of Sylvester and Jill Colby Fitzgerald of Duluth, GA; and his stepchildren, Robin Pfluke and Tony Shiver of Sylvester. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
