She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Scarborough and Elmer Harris Scarborough; her spouse Pope; her grandson James Willis "Will" Cox, Jr.; and her siblings, Dan Scarborough, Jack Scarborough and Edith Scarborough Fowler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Rutherford (Roger) and Beth Young; her grandchildren, Shaun Rutherford (Karen), Alicia Cox, Kristy Kistler and Hannah Young; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Rutherford, Ragan Rutherford and Madison McAllister; and her sisters-in-law, Lynda Scarborough, Geneva Scarborough of Tifton, Barbara Pope of Enigma and Elouise Pope Lewis of Cross City, Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
