He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Russell Huisman. He is survived by: his wife Merry Huisman of Sylvester; his daughters, Kelley Plant (Mathew) of Tifton, Kristina Spires (Shaefer) of Franklin, TN and Kerri Hancock (Danny) of Sylvester; his grandchildren, Noah McCorkle, Jackson Plant, EllaKate Plant, Camden Spires, Caleb Spires, Isabelle Hancock and Brodey Hancock; his mother Frances Huisman; and his siblings, Linda Huisman, Marianne Mills (Steve) and Robert "Bobby" Huisman (Lisa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
