She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Flowers and Annie Barton Flowers; her husband Chalmus Odel "Bo" Alred; her daughter Wanda Holton Smith; her granddaughters, Marcie Holton and Misty Poss; and her siblings, George Flowers, Louise Walker, Betty Flowers, Pauline Flowers Alfred, Catherine Hardy and Mozelle Carver.
She is survived by: her children, Debra H. Whitaker (Bill) of Sylvester, Nancy Harrington of Sylvester and Timothy Holton (Dianne) of Alabama. She is also survived by 3 grandsons, 7 granddaughters and 9 great-grandchildren.
