He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Joseph and Arnita Moore Burch. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Johnson Burch of Doles, GA; his children, Joseph Burch (Tammy) of Cumming, GA, Paula Tison (Allen) of Warwick, Racheal Burch Tillman (Wendell) of Sylvester and Suzanne Thongbai (Ted) of Sylvester; his sisters, Beverly Reddick (Harold), Barbara Burch and Annette Lanier; his grandchildren, Jesse Tillman (Nikki), Paul Tison, Laurie Tison, Haley Osborn (Stephen), Melody Tison, Autumn Collins (Randy) and Abigail Thongbai; and his great grandchildren, Raeleigh Tillman, Reign Collins, Brantley Tison and Fysher Collins.
