She was predeceased by: her husband Milton F. Schenck; her son James L. McKinney, Jr.; her siblings, Lucille Rutland and James C. Anderson; and her grandsons, John Morris, Jr. and Jamie McGriff.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia McKinney of Albany, Marilyn McKinney of Sylvester, Georgia, Donna McKinney of Sylvester, Georgia and Aaron Harris of Enterprise, Alabama; her sister Carrie Giuffre of Rockdale, Texas; and her close friends, William Pryor, Alice Durr, Deloris Curry and Jody Reed. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, four great, great, grandchildren.
