She was predeceased by: her parents, Clydie Lou Bryant and Henry David Bryant; her brother Charles Henry Bryan; and her granddaughter Tara Lynette McMillan. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Smoak; her daughters, Deborah Schirm (Gordon), Melissa Blackman, Stephanie Davis (Jeff) and Felicia Taborn (John); her grandchildren, K. C. Simonton and Aidan Davis; and her stepchildren, Terry Smoak (Tammy) and Sherry Ward (Larry).
The family asks for any gestures of remembrance to be directed to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
