He is survived by: his wife Margaret Horne Helms of Sylvester; his children, Beau Helms (Lisa) of Fitzgerald, Katie Helms Blanton (Carly) of Tifton, Brady Hart (Caroline) of Newnan and Garrett Hart of Sandy Springs; his granddaughter Kara Helms; his brother Richard Helms (Kim) of Sylvester; his nephew Rick Helms (Jana) of Putney; his mother-in-law Laura Jane Horne of Dawson; and his children, Cabo and Julie.
