She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Horten and Hazel Horten; her husband L. G. Young; her children, Wanda Fay Hall and Gordon Young; her granddaughter Marissa Sellars; her great grandchild Caden Kilcrease; and her sons-in-law, Steve Kilcrease, Leonard Hall and Robbie Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lila Sellars (Tony) of Starke and Wynette "Nett" Kilcrease of Sylvester; her daughter-in-law Karen Young Lauramore of Starke, Florida.; her grandchildren, Scarlet Stalvey (John) of Sylvester, Phil Sellars of Starke, Katie Carter (Cody) of Sylvester and Steven Kilcrease (Hailey) of Leesburg; her great grandchildren, Lexi Stalvey (Raymond West), Astrid Sellars of St. Augustine, Abbigale Sellars of Starke, Chloe Carter of Sylvester, Brooklyn and Ryker Kilcrease of Leesburg; her great great grandchildren, Zek of Sylvester and Malachi Stalvey of Sylvester; and her great grandchildren, Phil, Rylan Sellars, Steven Kilcrease, Cody, Ace Carter, John and Charlie Stalvey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Banks Funeral Home (210 N Main St, Sylvester, GA 31791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (701 S Isabella St, Sylvester, GA 31791).
