She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernice F. Willis Shiver and Elvis M. Shiver; her aunt Doris; her grandparents, George, Mary Ethel Slocum Willis, Maybelle Willis, J. Jack Shiver and Cassie Willis Shiver; her uncles, Grafton (Doris Willis), Frank (Jessie Willis), Wallace Willis and Earl Willis (Mary Willis); her aunt Susie (Leroy Harris); and her cousins, Mary Ethel Wright and Dallas Willis.
She had Alzheimer's disease for 16 years, but was able to live on her own until 2014 when she made her home at Cypress Pond in Tifton and later moved to Pine Shadows Manor in her hometown of Sylvester.
