He was predeceased by: his father James Leslie Parker; and his sister Marilyn Parker Heath. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Souter Parker of Poulan; his children, Gary Parker Jr. of Poulan, Donnie Parker of San Diego, CA. and Natalie Grace Thompson of Poulan; his mother Lessie Vera Parker of Sylvester; and his brother Danny Parker (Becky) of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
