He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ellis and Mary Elizabeth Clauss Parks. He is survived by: his wife Marla Parks of Sylvester; his children, Shari Davis, James Parks and Timothy Parks; and his siblings, Tommy Parks, Richard Parks, Mary Ann Schmaltz, Duane Higginbothan and Melissa Welch. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
