She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Vera Fincher Presley. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Dawson (Jody) of Sylvester and John Dawson of Sylvester; and her grandson Conner Dawson of Sylvester. She is also survived by four sisters, and three brothers.
