He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Mims and Edna Parks Mims; and his wife Alma Lee Connell Mims. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Mims Bryant (Dempsey) of Sylvester and Jerry C. Mims (Sue) of Canton; his grandsons, Dave Mims (Marti) of Woodstock and Jon Mims (Gillian) of Woodstock; his great grandchildren, Jeremy Mims (Haley), Gabe Mims, Faith Mims and Emmy Mims; and his great great grandchildren, Lily Mims and Brooks Mims.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Memory Gardens (3464 U. S. Hwy 19, Pelham, GA 31779).
