It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gay of Sylvester, Georgia, who passed away on May 17, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Gay and Mattie Lou Giddens Gay; and his grandson David Brooks Gay. He is survived by: his children, Keely Gay Basilio of Woodstock, GA., Stuart Gay of Atlanta and Matthew Gay (Crystal) of Suwanne, GA.; his significant other Kim Swanson; his grandchildren, Elise Basilio, Thomas Hardy Gay and Miller Gay; and his brothers, Jack Gay (Joan) of Moultrie, Jimmy Gay (Sharon) of Athens and Tommy Gay (Bobbie) of Crisp County. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
