He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy R. Hendrix and Betty Daniel Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Champion Hendrix; his daughters, Jennifer Hendrix McDougald (Kelly) and Whitney Hendrix; his grandchildren, Ben, Kolton and Brooks; his siblings, Debbie Hendrix Porterfield (Bill) and Keith Hendrix (Laurie); his nieces and nephews, Jim Champion (Mary) and Allison Champion Sumner (Taylor); and also Billy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (902 Jewell Crowe Rd, Sylvester, GA 31791). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery (902 Jewell Crowe Rd, Sylvester, GA 31791).
