She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Williams and George Ransom; her husband Ulyesses Chevers; her daughters, Linda Ransom and Sylvia Ann Harris; and her siblings, Franklin Ransom, Fannie Carter, Pecola Snipes and Tommie Johnson.
She is survived by: her child Min; her sisters, Maple Ransom of Cartersville, GA, Arzola Ransom of Great Neck, NY, Martha Jefferson of Sylvester, GA, Annie Bell Jenkins, Arcola Roberts of Albany, GA and Algie Lee Maxie of Atlanta, GA; and her son-in-law James Harris of Albany, GA. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
