It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Lou Phillips (Sylvester, Georgia), born in Sycamore, Georgia, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shine and Mary Walker Westbrooks; and her daughter Angela Mackey. She is survived by: her husband John Lewis Phillips; her daughters, Amanda McGee, LaKisha Phillips-Tyler, Felisha Phillips Jackson, Lavern Davis (Toronto) and NaShauna Phillips of Savannah; and her siblings, Mildred Akens (Robert) of Patterson, Marie Williams (Julius) of Sylvester, Georgia, Mary Jean Westbrooks, Linda Faye Haynes (Joseph) of Fort Lauderdale, Patricia McGill (Oscar), Andrew Westbrooks, Shirley Westbrooks of Patterson, Apudo Westbrooks, Nathaniel Madison (Della), Joe Madison and Frankie Lou Madison. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of lifelong friends.
