He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Gary Hill; his grandparents, Mamie Strickland, Harry Morrison, Lavona and W. Oscar Bell; and his stepfather William A. "Bill" Lancaster.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Brower Morrison; his son Trey Morrison; his parents, Willene Lancaster Bell of Govan, SC and William Thomas "Tommy"; his stepmother Alice Morrison; his brother Michael Morrison; his stepsiblings, Marshall Hill (Julia) and Denise Hill; his brothers, Johnny Brower and Don (Sue Brower); his aunt Carol; and his uncle Millard Lawson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
