It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vonnie Mauney (Sylvania, Georgia), born in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mode and Tanie Mode; her husband Glenn Mauney; and her brother Bill Mode. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Mauney and Rita Brinson (Jay); her grandchildren, Stephanie Marsh (Shawn) of Sylvania, GA, Jason Brinson of Atlanta and Ryan Mauney (Jennifer) of Madison; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Cheney, Blake Cheney, Colten Marsh, Abigail Marsh, Riley Mauney, Charleston Mauney, Grayson Mauney and Olivia Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Screven County Memorial Cemetery (810 E Ogeechee St, Sylvania, GA 30467).
