She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Edwards and Dorothy Scurry Edwards Brannen; and her stepfather James W. "Bill" Brannen. She is survived by: her husband Rick Harris Hester; her sons, Jason (Wendy Oliver) and Daniel Edwards Oliver; her sisters, Anne (James Zuber) and Nancy (Ed Seufert); her grandchildren, Kameron (Kayla Oliver) and Brannen Oliver (Lacey Mabli); and her pets, Maggie and Cricket.
