She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter F. Calvert and Louise G. Calvert; her husband Carl H. Ayers, Sr.; and her son Carl H. Ayers, Jr. (Butch). She is survived by: her children, Carla A. Beasley (Barnie) and James Phillip Ayers (Carol); her grandchildren, Heather B. Terry (Wes), James Ryan Beasley, Dori A. Still (Cole) and Duff Beauregard Ayers (Ashley); and her sisters, Sandra C. Penn and Mary C. Thomas. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James M. Strickland Memorial Chapel of Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home, Sylvania (107 Singleton Ave, Sylvania, GA 30467). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
