He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Patterson, Sr. and Dora Johnson Patterson; his brother Leotis Patterson; and his niece Pamela Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Cleo B. Patterson of Swainsboro; his children, Joshua S. Patterson, Sr. of Swainsboro, Traavis D. Patterson (Chynyuatta) of Swainsboro, Kristen A. Patterson of Swainsboro, Quantasha Frey (Gregory) of Atlanta and Shameka Rolle (Nick) of Miami, FL; his siblings, Thomas Patterson of Swainsboro, Ellis Patterson of Swainsboro, Don Patterson of Metter, Lorine Gordon of Swainsboro, Shirley Newton of Millen, Lettie Allen (Johnny) of Stillmore, Felicia Byrd (Ronnie) of Atlanta and Tennie Phillips of Metter; and his grandchildren, Jerrod Steward, Joshua Patterson, Jr., Quitasia Patterson, Jayden Patterson, Christopher Cuyler, Jr., Makaylyn Cuyler, Cayden Cuyler, Deangelohe Early, Gernarius Frey, Kayla Frey, Latraavis Patterson, Deivine Patterson and Jasmine Rolle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
