He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Beasley and Dixon Beasley of Nevada; his wife Martha Nell Akridge Beasley; and his siblings, Pat Beasley, Ed Beasley and Dolly Mae Jeffers.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Beasley (Debra) of Swainsboro and Melinda Brown (Gary) of Jacksonville, FL; his brother Terry Beasley (Denise) of Yulee, FL; his grandchildren, Wesley Beasley (Krislyn), Kealia Wilcher (Craig), Mason Brown (Maura) and Denton Kade Beasley; and his great grandchildren, Anna Kate Beasley, John Wright Beasley, Wills Beasley, Gaige Wilcher, Michael Wilcher, Remington Wilcher and Mala Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made directly to Chapman Funeral Home, 427 North Main Street, Swainsboro, GA 30401. The family will donate the proceeds to a charity or organization of choice.
