He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Hudson and Ola Fomula Hudson; and his siblings, Oliver Hudson Jr., Brent Hudson, Wayne Hudson, Drone Hudson Sr., Opal Jones and Johnnie Mae Riner.
He is survived by: his wife Romona Hammock Hudson; his daughters, Rhonda Oglesby (Jamey) and Brandi Hudson (William Burke); his grandchildren, Drake Oglesby (Liz Noles), Dilan Oglesby (Crystal), Madison McNeal (Chase Thompson), Brandon Johnson (Carley), William Burke Jr. (Emily), Gena Johnson (Chesley), Erin Chalker (Corey) and Lani Garrett; his great grandchildren, Noles Cillian Oglesby, Evee McNeal, Noah McNeal, Haven Oglesby, Brennen Johnson, Brody Johnson, Jensen Johnson, Reid Chalker, Jones Chalker and Brady Burke; and his sister Margaret Moss.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Shady Baptist Church (240 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Mt. Shady Baptist Church Cemetery (240 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
