Thomas Nick Herrington Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, Thomas Nick Herrington Sr. of Swainsboro, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, S. T. Herrington (Seab) and Lucille Aaron Herrington. He is survived by: his wife Annelle King Herrington; his daughter Amy Herrington Szalkowski of Coppell, TX.; his grandchildren, Lauren Herrington, Sarah Herrington, Avery S. Leal (Jared) and Wesley Szalkowski; and his great grandchild Judah Leal.
In light of the pandemic, a private family graveside service will be held with Rev. Bob Blankenship officiating. CDC social distancing guidelines will be observed and masks encouraged for the safety, the health and well-being of all.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to one of the following: First Baptist Church, 240 West Main, Swainsboro, GA 30401;Community Hospice, 904 Mt. Vernon Rd, Vidalia, GA 30474; or, the Georgia Tech Alumni Association—in memory of Nick Herrington—190 North Avenue NW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
