He is survived by: his wife Agnes Vu; his siblings, Kimanh Vũ Tang, Hoàng Nguyễn Vũ, Biền Tiến Vũ, Hài Đình Vũ and Thào Đình Vũ; his daughters, Vanessa Menah (Nathan) and Suzette Nelson (Nicholas); and his grandsons, Lucas Rader, Sebastian and Augustus Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests a charitable donation in Thiều's name to the American Liver Foundation.
