Shepherd of Swainsboro, Georgia, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Jane G. Shepherd; and his son Joseph B. Shepherd, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Sidney B. Shepherd, Jr. and Kelly S. Lanier (Corky); his grandsons, Sidney B. Shepherd, III (Lisa), Christopher R. Shepherd (Kira), Joseph B. Shepherd, Jr. and Zachary T. Shepherd (Lorie); his great grandchildren, Cierra M. Shepherd, Halle R. Shepherd, Maddox R. Shepherd and Hayes Blanton Shepherd; and his nieces, Fran S. NeeSmith (Jess) and Dene Shepherd. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
