He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanley Rowland and Jewel Fagler Rowland; and his siblings, Clyde Rowland and Mildred Harper. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Peebles Rowland of Swainsboro; his children, Robert Rowland (Lydia) of Midville, Johnny Rowland (Page) of Midville, Gary Rowland (Melinda) of Kite, Chris Henry (Valarie) of Greensboro, NC, Brenda Coleman of Perkins and Jane Bell (Paul) of Swainsboro; and his sisters, Joan Gross of Swainsboro and June Walls of Savannah. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
