It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Marlow Daniels of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Richard "Dickie" Daniels and Rebecca Dennis Hill; and his uncle Robert McElveen. He is survived by: his brothers, Samuel H. Daniels (Maria) and Edward H. Daniels (Cathy) of Swainsboro; his nieces and nephews, Rachael D. Callaway (Kyle) of Statesboro, Richard B. Daniels (Emily) of Swainsboro, Jacob V. Daniels (Jenna) of Swainsboro, Katlyn Suzann of Swainsboro and Jacob Westbrooks of Swainsboro; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marlowe Elizabeth Daniels, Richard Blaine Daniels, Jr., Saige Alexandria Daniels, Bethany Henry and Baby Parker Gray Callaway; his close friend Lisa Ricks of Swainsboro; his pet Obi; his aunt Sally McElveen of Columbia; and his uncle Edward Hill (Caroline) of Savannah. He is also survived by several cousins, and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (427 N Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Swainsboro (319 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, memorials be made to Nunez Baptist Church, P.O. Box 96, Swainsboro, GA 30401 and the Alzheimer's Disease Research c/o Bright Focus Foundation, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
