She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Peggy Taylor Carter; and her grandson Jarrett Logan. She is survived by: her close friend Jeff Glover of Swainsboro; and her children, Bryan Irby of Keysville, Tracy Childs (John) of St. Simons and Stephanie Barnett (David) of Swainsboro.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Durden - Hudson Funeral Directors (206 E Pine St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peebles - Curry Memorial Chapel. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Eastbrook Cemetery.
