It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Elizabeth Kersey of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy R. Hooks and Nettie Smith Hooks; her husband John Wayne Kersey; and her siblings, Roy Milton Hooks, Katherine H. Byers, Lynelle H. Huston, Jean H. Allen, Sara H. Mintz and Ann H. Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Ryan Kersey of Swainsboro and Tara Newsome of Swainsboro; and her grandchildren, Carrie Newsome, John Kersey and Katelyn Kersey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
