She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Fails and Jewell Turner Fails; her husband Bernard Scott; her siblings, Ronnie Fails and Sue Cobb; and her stepchildren, Billy Scott, Randy Scott, Debbie Walker and Libby Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Fails (Patricia) of Swainsboro, Grady Scott (Lacey) of Canoochee, Kelly Scott of Swainsboro and Brandi Phan (Binh) of Swainsboro; her stepson Marty Scott of Swainsboro; and her brothers, Wayne Fails (Jodale) of Greenville, SC and Gary Fails of Augusta. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
