She was predeceased by: her mothers, Dessie Elmo and Myrtice Hudson Cowart; her husband Clayton Downer; her sisters, Helen Cowart Whitehead and Irene Cowart Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Jed Christopher and Gracie Leigh Pullen.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Hudson (Mickey), James E. "Ezra" Price (Judy) of Swainsboro, GA, Ray Downer (Tabatha) of Swainsboro, GA and David Price (Helen); her grandchildren, Christy Scroggs, James Price (Carter), Clay Price (Amanda), Jarrod Downer, Jada Downer, Kristle Wheeler, Mandy Pullen (Chris) and Melissa Clark (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Bella Scroggs, Patton Price, Evie Price, Haley Fulcher, Peyton Taylor, Gage Pullen and Everly Brewer.
