He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Tucker Mitchell and Annie Myrtle Brantley; his wife Betty M. Mitchell of Swainsboro; his children, Melba Sakowshi of Mayberry, NC., Carrie Bush of North Carolina and Christopher Norfleet (Sharlene) of Hephzibah; and his sister Eula G. Scott of Statesboro. He was also cherished by 2 grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren.
